hey there, I'm zoe

Photography is my way of connecting with the souls I encounter. I’ve always known myself as an observer, and over the years my camera became my favorite method of sharing the love and connections I witnessed. Outside of creating, I love traveling, fiction novels, and spending time with my closest friends and family. I found my love of love in the novels I read growing up, and years later I’m blessed to tell real life love stories around the world. I’m always down for a late night chat, or a morning coffee- and I’ll never say to a trip to the thrift store.

I’ve had a passion for art long before I could I understand why, but my love of raw moments and sharing stories began even younger. As I was growing up, I found myself lost in the storylines of all the books I read and movies I watched. I was completely fascinated by the beauty of the stories that surrounded me and their most raw and vulnerable moments.

Over the years my camera became my favorite method of storytelling. I’m driven by the power to capture life’s most authentic people and moments that comes with the click of a shutter. I’ve come to love sharing the stories of my friends and clients, learning about who they are and capturing their lives and love in the most authentic way. I truly believe that everyone you meet will have a story to tell, and I’m excited to capture yours.

My philosophy is that photography is a medium of art created to share and capture the human experience. I believe that your connection is the heart of your visual story, and prioritize my client connection to understand their the story I’m telling. Each connection and experience is unique based on each clients needs, because no one was born to fit into a box. Your love story comes first, and my process of forming a friendship with each client is intentional in making sure my lens of your story is true to narrative.
